I have 15 years experience in Marketing as an Artist working for the Movie Industry in Hollywood, California.  I was lucky enough to be able to work on the campaigns for movies such as Pretty Woman, Lethal Weapon 2, Terminator 2, Batman, Dick Tracey, Fieval Goes West and many more.

1. Initial Meeting –

Meet for 1-3 hours to decide the purpose, look and content of your website.  Review your products or services.  Discuss various design solutions so that your website will be unique to your particular needs.

2. Custom Website Build (Header & Tabs) –

If you have an existing Logo, please supply a graphic file, logo and/or company typeface in a jpg or gif format. If you do not currently have a Professionally Designed Logo for Branding your company, see “Logo Design” in A La Carte Section below.

3. Homepage –

- An Unlimited Amount of Text (.doc or .txt file)

Please ensure that the grammar, syntax and spelling are correct. Your website visitors will notice these things and it will affect the way they think about your business. Ideally you prepare your text using a program such as MS Word.  If you are an “artist at heart”, you may format your file (font size, bold, italic, underline, spacing, etc.), although I will need to reformat to match your file or as to my recommendation when inputting into html format in the Website.

- Images

Supplied by the client (jpg or gif). I can also scan printed photographs.  (See A La Carte if you need Product Photography)

Directory Input                                                                       $199

Hand Input Company Information into 68+ Internet Directories
including directories like YellowPages.com, YellowBook.com,
Dex.com, Yahoo.com, Bing.com, CitySearch.com, SuperPages.com
Local.com, LocalPages.com, Yelp.com, Etc.  The more directories
your website is listed on, the more you flood the search page
with your own information when a potential customer searches
for you on the internet.

HOSTING WEBSITE, DOMAIN NAME, EMAIL

- $50 to Set Up your Hosting  (Domain Name and
Email Registration included)

- The approximate fees to own a Domain Name
are $12 per year.

- The approximate fees to Host your Website are
between $60 – $300 (see below for choices) 

I prefer to use BlueHost which is a highly rated and reliable Host.
I am on a high speed plan.  This would normally cost you $24.95 per month (rather than the slower $6.95 per month hosting cost most all websites are run on).  Under my account, you can get this high speed plan for just $5.00 per month, charged on a yearly basis (beginning fee $60.00 plus set-up).

Hosting on specially optimized High Speed Pro Hardware:
- 30 Mb/s Bandwidth (up from 15 Mb/s)
- 5 Gig Total PostgresSQL Databases (up from 3 GB)  300,000 (up from 200,000)
- 5 GB Total MySQL Databases (up from 3 GB)
- 5 GB Single Database Size (up from 2 GB)
- 3000 Database Tables (up from 1000)
- 2000 Max Emails/Hour (up from 750)

If you have an existing hosting service with an existing website that you need transferred to my account to take advantage of the low cost high speed plan, the cost is $150 to move all of the files to my account.  It takes approximately 1-3 days for the service to be transferred.

FUTURE CHANGES AND MAINTENANCE:

Website Changes and Maintenance        $35 hr Billed in 15 min. intervals.
Most websites require some type of maintenance throughout the year – new products,
updates to advertising, price changes, contact information, broken links, etc.  The
fee for the yearly update is a flat $99.

I do not believe in monthly maintenance fees.  There are many website designers
who will charge a monthly fee for an hour of changes and updates.  You are
charged that amount whether or not there are changes to your account.  I only
charge you when I do work for you.  I bill $35 per hour in 15 minute intervals….
so you are never overcharged!  I keep a running log of changes and charges
until your running tab reaches $50 and then I will send an invoice…..so no silly
little bills throughout the year!  :)
